Updating my beneficiaries

Updating my beneficiaries

Let us know who to support after you die.

Keeping your beneficiary details up to date helps ensure that the people you care most about receive any benefits from your pension according to your wishes. Life changes such as marriage, divorce, or new additions to the family can affect who you want to be named, so it’s important to review your details regularly.

Your beneficiary details help the Trustee make decisions about who receives any pension benefits if you die. Keeping this information current reduces delays for your loved ones.

There are lump sums payable if you die:

  • after you are no longer paying in but have a benefit remaining in the Scheme
  • if you die within 5 years of starting to take your pension

The Expression of Wish Form helps the Trustee make decision about who should receive any lump sums payable
